I would allow religious freedom, but don't do that for physics and therefore would see no conncetion between religion and science. People may believe in what ever they like and that would include Hinduism (if that's what they want). But physics is international by its very nature and cannot take care about local believe systems. This doesn't say, that pyhsics is atheistic, but religion and science are simply different stories. The 'currency' of science is truth, whether the local authorities like that or not, irrespective of the local believe system. TH ...
