Part of what spiral? Oh gosh, i haven't taught 3rd grade physic in a long time... The operative word is ..."spiral". Spiral is what galaxies do. A whirlpool. But in this photo: https://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/styles/full_width_feature/public/thumbnails/image/main_image_deep_field_smacs0723-5mb.jpg *ALL* the galaxies are in a whirlpool. *ALL* the galaxies are in a spiral. It's a galaxy galaxy. A galaxies of galaxies.
