This means that the news server is able to provide older messages (messages from before the servers went down) by message number. b) Our news server has been noticeably slow in Agent for several days, but today they responded as quickly as my ISPs server does. -- "Nature must be explained in her own terms through the experience of our senses." That's good. For the most part, the news server seems to be working. I am still reviewing the error logs, in particular reports of Inode mismatches with the recent posts. This is why I was requesting that we limit the posts to testing for now. Hope to get this understood soon so we can get everyone back on board. Thanks, Marty
