replying to was replying to. This means that the news server is able
to provide older messages (messages from before the servers went down)

but today they responded as quickly as my ISPs server does.

That's good. For the most part, the news server seems to be working. I am 
still reviewing the error logs, in particular reports of Inode mismatches 
with the recent posts. This is why I was requesting that we limit the posts 
to testing for now. Hope to get this understood soon so we can get everyone 
back on board.
