COLA has been a shit storm for ... 20 years? You can't blame that on one
person.

I push to discuss technology but also respond to trolling nonsense.

Makes me evil.

Bullshit. You push to make every discussion be about you. Look what has happened to csms since you infested it. Every thread becomes about you and your trolling.

Your lying and forging and trolling make you evil.

Snit isn't my "buddy". I hardly know him on Usenet, much less
personally.

None of what you say above seems dishonest or dishonorable, assuming he
actually said it.

You should see a doctor about these delusional fantasies of yours. I'm
not trying to be mean, but it's evident you are abnormally obsessed with
this person and need professional help getting a grip on your personal
issues.

I wrote nearly the same words a few minutes ago, but decided to let it

Carroll points to his list of obsessively scavenged and forged quotes about
me to "prove" things about me. As such, he should accept the words about him
as proof he has delusional fantasies.

Thanks, Snit. So it looks like there are temporary work arounds, but
for an actual fix, I need to wait for 10.11.1 or such.

I've made it create a new ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
and that is working for the moment. It remains to be seen how long it
will work.

I have not seen the issue - nor have most apparently... so it might not come

Gee go figure. You post a problem with a sock and then come to the rescue with a link that happens to talk about the exact same problem.

People are not going to fall for your shit here either, Snit.

Do they show in your Finder windows? If not, go to Finder > Preferences >
Sidebar and turn on what you want (can also drag stuff there).

Be aware you are replying to a Snit sock. He creates false problems to "solve" so people will think he knows something.

Nonsense, Howard has been to the Apple news groups for a long time, and
he is not Snit. Troll on.

I often ignore posts from Google. Use a real news client instead.

Carroll has been trolling me and stalking me from group to group for over a
decade. I have responded to him ONCE since 2009... and that was back in
2011. Not since then. And he still has not slowed down.

I found you helpful, as I said a day or so ago. My Favorites are still
there, too. I'm hesitating a little over upgrading to 10.11.1 just now...
