None of what you say above seems dishonest or dishonorable, assuming he
actually said it.

You should see a doctor about these delusional fantasies of yours. I'm
not trying to be mean, but it's evident you are abnormally obsessed with
this person and need professional help getting a grip on your personal
issues.
