The commands aren't terse like UNIX commands.  There are two fundamental 
commands that are frequently used:  SHOW and SET with "/" as a delimiter 
to more verbose qualifiers that makes more sense.
Like SHOW/DIRECTORY *.EXE or SHOW/DIRECTORY *.COM.  And the user can 
edit the name table to shorten the command qualifiers to suit themselves 
in their own account.  One just need to get used to it is all.

Actually, around 1987 or so, the Amigas had MS Basic installed on disk 
and that basic had a very good Window() command that was very easy to 
use and got to the point.  All it needed then was a basic compiler to 
speed it up, which never happened from MS.
