I am working on a system which will be more than anything Jeremy can do! 

If you have some_file.pdf open in a user space program such as MS Word and you want to change its name to windows.doc via a proxy icon whilst picking your nose, that might be useful, if only to make sure file names are not the same. 

Spoken like a typical herd member.
