Great expectation that turned out for naught.

Bad evidence.   At the time this went on for quite a while.  Over the 
course of two weeks in my case as I flipped between Dropbox and iCloud.

I gave up.  (And posted why, here in this group).  It could be that it 
is now really fixed ... I'll try it out sometime in the not distant future.
