Ordinarily, as I recall, provided you've not fucked with the
Attachments folder behind Eudora's back.

I've implemented my own mail client with some Eudora-like features,
including moving attachments to a separate folder (mostly to reduce
mailbox bloat). My client keeps track of attachments provided you use
the client itself to move the attachment. This means it can find them
if and when you want to export your mails to text files with the
attachments encoded to base64. You can also have it move and forget.

I never figured out how to reattach files to mails in Eudora, but these
people must have:

   <http://weirdkid.com/emailchemy/>

When I stopped using Eudora I used emailchemy to export my Eudora mail,
and then imported it into my client.
