for some ridiculous and stupid reason, you set the default app in the
app even though it's systemwide. it really should be in system
preferences. since eudora doesn't have that option, you have to launch
apple mail and then pick eudora for the default mail app. there is a
third party system preference called rcdefaultapp that can do it too,
which is where the setting *should* be.
