For kicks, I tried uninstalling outdated HP's softwares (its own scanner crashes too so I wanted to fix that) in 2012 13"
MBP's Mojave v10.14.6 and then installed HP Easy Start. Its USB print
doesn't work too. Dmesg shows:

:) NY! Let's hope 2021 will be better, but it doesn't seem like it so far. :(
