As an actual adult, you'll understand that the point of this thread is to figure out how to satisfy Apple's new 2FV mandatory requirement WITHOUT giving Apple your very private phone number and without having to carry that second device with you whenever you need to log into your Apple device... for the entirety of the rest of your worldly natural life. For Apple to require two devices just to log in, is patently absurd. And I don't have to explain to you how brain dead iOS is w/o logging in. None of the other operating systems are brain dead if you don't log in. Only Apple operating systems are brain dead if you don't constantly log in. Anyway, the goal here is to find another method for Apple's absurd requirement for 2FV (which robs you naked in terms of loss of privacy). See my other response to you showing Google Voice won't work with Apple. If we can't figure out a solution, then it's true: Apple murdered privacy.
