The up side of decreased interest is that spammers on Usenet aren’t really 
a big problem.  I see mostly trolls in the newsgroups, and they’re easily 
handled by a small number of filters.  It used to be that the email I 
used here was responsible for the majority of the spam I received.  Now 
I’m still using the address I created for last year, and still not a 
single spam in sight.
