Strange. On both my old 32 GB USB flash sticks, they worked until 
booting up and installing until stopped. And then, my flash drives 
aren't usable anymore. SP brand (years old) can't be formatted fully on 
any computer I have here in Windows (XP Pro SP3 and 10 EE), Linux 
(Debian Jessie stable), and Mac OS X (v10.8.5/Mountain Lion & 
v10.12/Sierra). Patriot (newer) brand flash drive won't even let me see 
its drive even though OSes detect a connection. Did the new MBP or 
Sierra/OS X v10.12 hose them?  :(
