Yes, NTSC = Never The Same Color. =P

My Franklin Composite Color Monitor came today.  Colors match my 1st Apple Color Monitor pretty good.  Sharpness is definitely lacking -- HGR blue lines unfortunately look solid. :-/

My 2nd Apple Color Monitor was DOA ...

Still waiting for my 3rd Apple Color Monitor to arrive ...

I'm not a hardware guy -- so reading technical specs doesn't do me much good; I'll have to defer that to someone more knowledgable then me.

However, I'm a visual person.  I'm that person who WILL notice a single white pixel for one frame on Blu-Rays.  I hope that with a sample size of 3 monitors it should be "good enough" to get consistent and accurate colors -- displaying my HGR test patterns on real hardware look similar enough.  I'm not seeing huge variations (yet).

That's what I'm currently using as my reference. :-)

Long term yes -- but once AppleWin's improved colors meet my standards I want to get back to the debugger.

Ultimately we would emulate the Brightness, Tint, etc. controls.  I'm not going to worry about that for now ..

Considering AppleWin has been around for 20 years, I don't think there is a rush :-)  We'll get there, eventually. :)
