Of course not. You have installed the module in a different way, so
you would not even have a place where you could put a !Run file.

No. Either you install the module in a subdirectory as suggested in
the Wiki, then that subdirectory needs a !Run file, or you place the
module in PreDesk directly, in which case there is no need for a run
file, nor an obvious location where you could place one anyway.

Thanks for the lucid explanation, Martin. Sorry so long replying - been away. -- Chris Newman

I've used v0.85, for a long time with my Unipod (now > upgraded to 0.87). Where exactly do you load v0.85, and what do you mean by '...with my UNIpod ...'? I find (on my RO v4.39) I am running that version though I do not have the DOSFS directory and contents given on the ROOL site. I must be loading it elsewhere. I have searched unsuccesfully using !Locate and !Verma. The DOSFS v0.75 in ROM is dormant, and the DOSFS 0.67 in !Boot.Utils.RO4Patches.!Run, which dates from 2004, I have disabled by a '|'. A reference to the original post which concerned the use of a flash drive with Unipod. > I find (on my RO v4.39) I am running that version though I do not have > the DOSFS directory and contents given on the ROOL site. If Locate can't find a file named DOSFS, maybe its filename has been changed. Try using Locate to search Boot for files whose _contents_ include DOSFS. That should find the module, and the obey file which loads it. Tony

It lives with other stuff in a 'private' directory called !Boot+ where I can get at it added without digging about in !Boot. DOSFS v0.87 is now installed there. The modules in my !Boot.Utils.RO4Patches remain disabled - see my posting <525c50f027bric-nospam@argonet.co.uk> earlier in this thread.
