Hi

Don't know whether I've done something incredibly stupid or not, but.

I tried looking for subject Local Browsing, there were only five articles.

However, tried select over comp.sys.acorn.misc and sorting on status and
there were quite a few articles named Local Browsing. Opened
comp.sys.acorn.misc and deleted the five articles. But, on repeating the
status sort exercise and there were still several articles showing.
Decided to move all articles to Junk, which seemed a rather rash thing to
do. Not all articles actually moved so deleted the residue and then I
moved all articles back again from Junk. So far as I can see all 'ghost'
articles have now gone.

Now awaiting possibility of more spurious 'unread' articles with slight
trepidation.

Brian
