Hello, I have deleted the PPM algorithm from my Parallel archiver cause the PPM algorithm can not be parrallelized with my method, and i have noticed also that Parallel LZMA alrorithm is better on the compression ratio than the PPM algorithm, so if you want to compress better use Parallel archiver with Parallel LZMA with the compression level clLZMAMax. Sorry for this... I have used solid compression like with the tar.bz2 format and i have found that my Parallel archiver, and with maximum level compression that is clLZMAMax, it compresses to the same size as WinRar with maximum level compression, and to almost the same size as 7zip with a dictionnary size of one megabytes and maximum elvel compression and it is much more better than WinZip on compression ratio . How to use solid compression with my Parallel archiver ? Just archive your files with clLZMANone and after that compress your archive with clLZMAMax, Parallel archiver will then compress to the same size as WinRar with maximum level compression.
