Yes. I was a regular here nearly 20 years ago when I started using
threads on unix (Solaris) and there were very few of us doing that
at the time, so this was one of very few resources avaiable.

This is probably the first time I've dipped back in here for years,
and it's probably well over 10 years since I was a regular.

The spam was solved with just a single killfile entry, once I'd
examined some and worked out it was all noise and no signal.
