Perhaps if the natives who are on the government dole could chose to do
shit work or have their EBT cards canceled it would help.

There is a segment of the population destined to be slaves no matter how
you sugar coat it. They have low intelligence, no skills, and no
motivation. What else are you going to do with them? About 100 years ago
positive eugenics focused on slowly eliminating them. Modern dysgenics
increases their number and if the domestic supply falls short, importing
them.

It's interesting to ponder that one.

Some will adapt, some will inevitably die.

But when civilisation collapses, they are your insurance policy.

I went to the Yucatan. I saw the Mayan ruins. spectacular., Where are
the people who built them?

Driving back through the Quintana Roo I saw them,. In little thatched

That's one site of many. In the US southwest the cultures used stone since
there isn't much else to work with. In the eastern US wood and other
material more susceptible to decay was used although they build massive
earth structures that have survived.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpent_Mound

Most are artificial hills and not that elaborate.

I spent a week at Chaco exploring and after the park rangers determine
you're truly interested and won't destroy artifacts they would tell you
off the record "You shouldn't hike out to this area but if you happen
to..." One ranger was a Navajo (Dine). The Navajo themselves had migrated
into the area only shortly before the Spanish arrived and weren't
descendants of the builders. He said it caused controversy in his family
when he took the assignment. They had no more idea about the earlier
culture than anyone else but considered the area a very bad place to be.

The Pueblo tribes may have been the descendants but they knew little too.
There are several explanations for the extinction of the cultures both in
the east and west. Spengler may have had the best explanation. The culture
turned into a civilization and went into decline. For him 'civilization'
was not a good thing. The culture lost its vigor as it passed into a
civilization, a late state that had lost its youthful vigor and was riding
on momentum.

Anywhere people have died is considered a bad place to be right now
to individual dwellings.

More climate change. An elaborate system of channels was built to
bring rainwater to the fields and when the rain stopped for a while the
culture
went away. To find other resources or less water intensive cultivation.
Religious
wars may have been in there too.

I was five when my grandmother, who had been living with us, died. Back
then they waked you in the parlor. I remember getting up at night to take
a leak and seeing the candles burning in the front room.

Well meaning people said things like 'God will take her up into heaven
now.' I had no idea what they were talking about but we had a big elm in
the backyard and I knew how a block and tackle worked so I imagined the
coffin being hoisted up to the top of the tree,

I was a five year old animist. When they finally sprung religion on me it
didn't take all that well.

Only it was aimed at non-white and non-conforming women as were a lot
of psychiatric admissions and hospitalisation. Native Americzn women,
lationas
and African American women were targeted for sterilization without consent.
Eugenics was basically a racist movement corrupted at it core by
white racist attitudes with a view to eliminating the "Color Problem" seen
by white physicians. I guess the lack of treatment given the syphylis
infected black men was supposed to help with that goal

Admittedly they had a less-educated perspective
on "idiocy" back then ... the eugenics people
spread lots of mis-perceptions that SEEMED to
be "The Science" at the time.

Everybody was still USED to breeding 'better'
animals back then, it all SEEMED so logical.
Naturally, the CURRENT "ruling class" was
just SURE to be The Superior ......

Ok, kiddies RAISED by the 2-digit crowd were
more likely to be 2-digit just because of
their limited exposure to anything else.

This just reinforced "The Science" of the time.

Now if those kiddies just had Linux PCs ! :-)

Family tradition. Their 38 year old grandmother was 2 digit too. I think
it was Shaw who said 'You can lead a whore to culture but you can't make
her think' when asked to define horticulture.

Like the Jack London socialists I have a certain fondness for the Fabians

Really riling me up with those 2 digit remarks. You are a fan of eugenics
and want to murder everyone who is not as smart as you believe yourself to
be. We have good books coming out of Africa so it has nothing to do wiht
genes but with the vicious repress suffered by black people in the USA and
in other places. But the USA was the country where afterr the Abolistion
of Chattel Slavery and the end of Reconstruction was followed by the
notorious
Black Codes of the South., attempting to crush black people in every way.
The South of the 19th Century had been totally dependent on black
slavery and the racists attempted to continue it as long as possible using
schools to teach racism to white children and neglecting black education
to the point that the SCOUSA saw that it was bad and unconstitutional.

The NAZI Party copied the Black Codes to apply to the Jews and
race-based Eugenics from the USA in the days when the American Society
and many US governments, state and local were run by racists even in
California where stealing valuable land from black people were very
popular.
They were proceeded by the state of New York where land owership by
black freedmen was suppressed. Poverty in inheritable but it has nothing
to do with genes any more that Wealth which is also an inheritable
trait that has nothing to do with genes.

I bet that you Mr. Bowman are a very successful person which as
we see in the recent case of the Bush Father and son is an inheritable
condition.

Well its down to what you need. an IQ of 50 is OK to pick cotton with,
but it wont do calculus.

The great mistake Muricans make is to not realise that there are plenty
of smart black people. They just didn't end up being sold to Muricans.

And if the ones that did had smart kids, they generally were hung for
being 'uppity niggers'

The African American is culturally selected to be stupid.

Wouldn't last 5 minutes in Africa

Socialism got taken over by Russian Marxists around 1920.
Having fucked up Russia they realised they would have to fuck up
everywhere else too, or they wouldn't survive.

A lot of folks on Medicaid in the USA are working for a living.
Trump's BBB cut their medical support and further cuts to Medicard
are coming.
If these cuts are maintained then millions may die. And yes
at 88 i know very well that we all die. All of my friends younger
and older know this very well. Worse than dying is living with
dementia and there are kinds other than Alzheimer's which
are just as damaging to quality of life.

My young friend who drives me to shop when mutually
convenient called me a Super Ager the other day and is so
silly as to think I have all my faculties. Well I am pretty much
the same as I was in my late 30s and early 40s but I never
had all my faculties as I am bipolar which makes it hard to
make good decisions at time. The reason I have lived so
long is that most of the Bad Luck that happened to me
cleared the way for me to live longer.
