I remember an UFO serial, between 1970..80, in which Earth was silently 
fighting off an invasion. I remember one episode in which one of the 
earth characters (military?) was captured by the extraterrestrials, then 
recovered, and he was wearing a spacesuit filled with liquid. The 
terrestrials "opened" it up, I mean, took of his helmet, and the liquid 
poured off, and the character was coughing his head off and fighting.
