No, but I looked on google. You could post an exact link to the one you 
are thinking about.

Doesn't change much. The problem is what multiple pin connector you put 
at the card side, how many pins it has (the part of the card edge that 
shows out of the computer box). Maybe a lot, but then the people at the 
lab can not wire it themselves (think HDMI connectors), only certain 
businesses can do it for them.

The ones I have worked with used ribbon cable of the same kind as used 
for IDE hard disks, that was the limit. Some cards used similar density, 
but metal connectors.
