There are mathematical ways OR maybe they just downloaded and compressed the table I'm using ? Quick peek, there are trig functions in there, so it must be a math approach. Note, 'time.daylight' is back to reporting the correct value. However Dec 31, maybe 30, it was NOT. This function uses the time zone and clock your system is using ... ie it's good for YOU. datetime.dst() requires you to provide a timezone and a time so it's more complicated. For now I'll just stick to capturing "date" and searching for "DST". The system knows.
