It started with rendering the video on the GUI. Switching to the TTY
sound was still there. Unfortunately Schroedinger's Cat doesn't allow you
to know if the video is also still playing while you not look at it. :-)

Just checked. It doesn't matter if the player is full screen or windowed.

As mentioned there is at least one other app too. Linphone still rings
when I was called but at the TTY.

I just notice that Linphone also has a curses based interface. Something I
should look into.
