No.  I did not.  To be clear: you made that up.  You fabricated that story.
It is in no way true or accurate.  And, of course, you have no support for
it.  It is merely wishful thinking on your part - an excuse for a clear bug
in Ubuntu... a bug which is referenced in the above link.
