Just so. And several other more recent movies the names of which I
forget.

Now "technology" is an impenetrable browser that does what it wants
to, megabytes of javascript that do whatever some remote corporate
entity wants them to, walled-garden substitutes for Usenet that build
profiles of you by aggregating every bit of data you pass through
them, certs provided by entities you can't assess or audit that claim
hilariously to provide impenetrable security and a new O/S that
unilaterally installs itself and reconfigures your system.

What is it, again, that we're looking forward to now?
