Can I make different commands for invoking python 2 and Python 3? I am using Windows 7 and use Windows Powershell as an alternative to the linux terminal. Any suggestions about how to do that instead of breaking all my code at once? Yep! And in fact, Python 3.3 includes a launcher that makes it fairly easy. Just install another version, and then check this out: http://docs.python.org/3.3/using/windows.html#launcher You can use a Unix-style shebang to specify which Python version some script depends on.
