The next version (1.1.0) of the free open source application FroZenLight has been released. The app. shows a light ray that is cast on a lattice of circular shaped mirrors and is reflected by the simple law of geometric optics. For certain positions of the light source periodic reflection patterns can be made. The application and an animation of the light patterns can be started with a click on a java web start link located at: http://frozenlight.berlios.de/ Feedback is welcome. Zoltan
