Yes, I know that I'd have had used a variable.
You can remove the "." + "\\" + string and the code will work out the
same.

do you mean that a path like C:\Documents and Settings\Program Files
in Java can be inputed like C:/Documents and Settings/Program Files
even when running on Windows?
