Where's the best place to put an SSCCE if I want to get help with an issue 
I'm having?

I haven't quite given up on solving this myself but I'm running out of 
ideas so I may just put together an SSCCE to illustrate the problem. I'm 
just not sure where to put it so that people can get it easily.

Also, is the standard procedure to put everything in a zip file or jar? Or 
to simply put the source code on a web page so that people can cut and 
paste it into their preferred IDEs? With the latter approach, they needn't 
worry about malware in the zip file or jar....
