I did argue for reserving NOT in the '94 document but was drowned out by the chorus of "let's not go there again". A similar problem exists for " (quote) which was also dropped from Forth-94. The same problem occurred when I suggested reserving the names of the obsolete words that we dropped from Forth200x. -- Peter Knaggs
