I'm not entirely opposed to games. I often spend hours per day playing Baduk on KGS. That's different though, because that is supposedly stimulating my mind.

I am very much opposed to violent video games however. I think these are a major factor in these mass shootings that we have had recently. I would be okay with banning them. They are essentially pornography, except for violence rather than sex --- in either case, people get a fantasy in their mind that is a gross deviation from reality --- this stimulates peoples minds too, but not in a good way.
