Hang on and back up a minute, I was calling you out for saying Scott 
said he used "a simple optimisation option" to make his code faster.  He 
made no such claim.

What you call compiler optimisation is largely irrelevant.  What 
developers who tune applications for their execution environment is more 
pertinent here, even though the two are the same in this case. 
Architecture optimisations do not require extra annotations within the 
source code.  Where did you conjure that up from?  You have a penchant 
for twisting a thread with things no one has mentioned and throwing a 
tantrum when we call you out.
