You agree that it's a small effort. Doesn't that mean you agree with my
original statement? Here it is again:
But almost all programs that are legal C but not legal C++ can be
made into legal C++ with a small effort.
At no time did I suggest it would be a good idea. (And I'm profoundly
uninterested in debating the merits of C++ here.)
