Why?
The charter here doesn't exclude any particular variant and is 
explicitly listed as:
"...will be a place for any discussions of topics which are not covered 
by the other three groups."
(No matter that it pre-dated .Net)

The OP wanted to do it with VB (unspecified variant), and so fits inside 
the charter.
