Most (non-GUI) VB6 code runs unchanged in VB.NET - which is why I do use 
it. It's usually just a matter of searching and replacing a few data 
types: eg Long to Int32 and Integer to Int16.

I see no advantage in using C# over VB.NET (for a VB6 programmer).
