Strange, I've tried to remove emacs on my box, then reinstall the gnuplot 
by `sudo make install'.  This time I don't meet any error and cann't 
reproduce the error I posted in the last post.

I only remember that it complains that something wrong about 
`gunplot.texi' and I must install emacs first.
