     Well, I do not know that that actually is the problem.  It was
only something I read.  I did solve the problem though:

     I started Windows in Safe Mode.  I set the files in the directory
to R/W and deleted them and the directory.  I then created a text file
with the same name as the directory.  So far, it seems to be working.
The commit charge on my system is lower, too, but I do not know if
this is connected.
