Ok I did a sqlservr -f and which started it in single user mode with minimal configuration. I was then able to restore master.bak I had from a week ago and that at least let me start up the server. I can see that tempdb is now only 50 GB, much better than that 200 GB it was before. I guess I'll soon find out if it caused any problems!
