I am running sql server 2000 and have noticed that the tempdb .mdf file is 200 GB The largest user db .mdf file is about 130 GB. I have restarted the server many times but it stays at 200 GB. It is filling up the disk. Is there any way to shrink this or is the user db causing it to grow so large?
