(Yes, I know about FileMaker's forums)

Here's the situation:

We have a set of FileMaker .fp7 files that were created years ago by
someone who is retired and living outside the U.S.

One file has a share, and ***ALL*** files are on a local folder on my
WinXP SP3 desktop.

Every time I open the main file I get an error saying something like
'cannot open share because Network Share is disabled.'

THE FILES ARE NOT ON THE NETWORK! They are all in the *same local
folder*. Enabling Network share fails, so that does not fix the
problem.

So why this error?

Note that operation on these files are not affected, I can
edit/create/delete.
