Yeah, that'd work but stupid prices on ebay $25 ish with the bulb I don't 
need.

And I still cant find them on aliexpress if they are even on there at all.

I do have quite a few of them so it makes more sense to round them
up than to do what I planned to do, get some for $2 or so off aliexpress.

Its only for a bit of trial end error placement stuff with the new Hue
E27 bulbs until I decide where to put them permanently and use the
much better E27 sockets like http://images.meproducts.net/SVL-2W.jpg

Those arent as convenient for temporary location trialing.

The original can be clamped to almost anything and I have
one jammed in the side of the filing bins beside the main
chair at the moment and another jammed down between
the wall and the existing single tube fluoro fitting in the
kitchen etc.
