More fool you. A mobile call on an unlimited plan costs you
nothing, and allows instant feedback on any query and you
can be sure that the other person answered the call too.

In the case of that kid, a mobile call works a lot better because
you can agree on the time and place in the one free call.

Anyone with even half a clue just gets
a facebook account in that situation.

And most facebookers do actually email each other
in that situation, they just don't realise that what
they are doing is emailing, they call it inboxing.

Hardly surprising if you didn't say why you wanted to be emailed
and they didn't know how to do that even if they actually do email
other facebooker all the time and they did with you too.

That is the traditional thing to do with the buy sell swap groups,
don't put your location or phone number in the post, give it to
those who 'inbox' you and ask for that, so you don't get thieves
showing up to the location or fools calling you playing silly buggers.

Not clear what he means by that. If he means anything they
have ever posted, that's on that individual's wall, but you may
need to be his friend to see everything he has ever posted.
That friend bit varys with who he allows to see what he posts.
