but isn't the purpose of the NBN to provide fast internet for all of 
Australia? so I guess you just have to wait. btw.. a friend is just 15k  
out of Brisbane and they can't get any faster internet than 1.8 mbs, so 
there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it;  except that it all 
depends on when and where Telstra is willing to upgrade the 
infrastructure I think.
