The annual reports aren't what they tell the ATO, its what they are telling
their shareholders and they can't get always with lying to their 
shareholders
about what level of profit they are making because there is no way to hide
that sort of profit from the shareholders. They can use transfer pricing to
lie to the ATO so they show the profit in a low tax jurisdiction, but that 
will
still be visible in the annual reports. That's how we know about Murdoch's
tax rorting.

Sure, but I'm not about to do myself out of the saving if
those are better priced than the ones with accurate labels.
