There been times when big tech companies not made backups and managed to 
loose their customers data, maybe they did learn, at least lets hope so.

The standard software user agreement, we require money from you to use 
it, but we don't guarantee that it works. It's been around as long as 
software has been sold and will keep on till the last developer dies.
