While looking into the history of Minix from the other thread here about 
Unix at 50, I learned that Minix was ported to the Atari St in 1991, and 
that it wasn't the only Unix-like system for that platform; there was 
also Mint.

I didn't know about that unixy business, but I /did/ know about the 
series of devices David Small developed for the ST's cartridge port; 
Magic Sac, Spectre 128 & GCR which could incorporate Mac ROMs and 
emulate a Mac.  I had a MagicSac.  I much preferred the Atari TOS system 
to the Mac emulation.
