Trump saying “unconditional surrender” sets the ceiling. What you’re seeing now is positioning—pressure, leverage, and forcing the other side into a weaker place before ending things. Not demanding every single condition at the end doesn’t mean he “cried uncle.” It means he got what he needed and didn’t drag it out just to satisfy headlines. You two are confusing negotiation with surrender, which is exactly why this went over your heads in the first place. Trump is proving he gave them every opportunity to make a deal even though Trump has no intentions of giving them one. It's called looking fair in the eyes of the world community.
