"Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <test@255soft.uk> recipient rejected - relay denied Please check the message recipient “test@25Ssoft.uk" and try again." Sending to this recipient works fine when I'm at home; sending when I'm at a different location (I think I get a similar message whoever the recipient is), i. e. my internet connection is via a different ISP, fails. Is this another example of Thunderbird's error message being not quite an accurate description of what's happening? I have the feeling that what the server really said is "I don't accept outgoing em\ils except when you're connected to your home connection". (I also think this has only been since PlusNet outsourced to Greenly; I am pretty sure I was able to send - still via relay.plus.net - when at other's homes before that.) Any thoughts of settings to try changing? (I already tried changing from "none" to "password sent unencrypted" with no success.) -- J. P. Gilliver.
