On Sun, 7 Dec 2014 04:42:17 -0800 (PST) da kidz on comp.sys.sinclair were rappin' to MC : > It's gradually coming back to me. I think the map was just England, or maybe England and Wales, because I'm fairly sure Carlisle to somewhere in the South-West was the longest journey you could make. In my head the driving screen looks a lot like the stages screen of Milk Race. As I recall the key flaw in the game is that you couldn't win, you just kept playing for as long as you could accrue money - although it's possible you could win by accruing a certain amount and I just didn't have the attention span. It's not what you're thinking of, but there was a treasure hunt(?) type game that had the entire UK as a map. The fatal flaw was it didn't give much (or any) leeway to get to the destination, so you had to move directly to the square for the location without deviation. Hmm, I've been doing too much Spectrum emulator typing over the last couple of days, and keep heading for Alt-7 for the apostrophe.
